Accountant

A hugely successful company in the local area are currently looking to recruit for an Accountant to join their company. The successful candidate will become a key member of staff within the employer’s accounts department.

The Role

• Preparation of accounts for the business
• Completion of month end and year end accounts
• Management of accounts payable and receivable team
• Completion of company bank reconciliations
• VAT and tax returns
• Management of company cashflow
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Budget Control and forecasting duties
• Other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in accounts
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Chartered accountant or qualified via experience
• Good communication skills
• Professional and approachable
