Job Title: Commercial Accountant (3PL)

Location: Knowsley

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Healthcare, 25 Holidays, Pension

We are recruiting a Commercial Accountant on behalf of a global 3PL who provide award winning e-commerce and freight solutions. You will working on a dedicated customer contract – one of the fastest growing global sports brands!

The Role:
The purpose of this role is to support the end to end invoicing process, completing billing and invoicing activities for the logistics operation.

This is a customer facing role where you will be required to liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries, investigate discrepancies and take corrective action, all whilst supporting the operations team with changing processes and order volumes.

Additional responsibilities:
Produce Management Information reports highlighting the sites operational and financial performance.

Managing the PO log so the supplier invoices can be matched when received.

Collating Supplier Invoice Data for Billing and Finance Teams.

Reports for Month End Billing for WMS and VAS Transactions.

Document temporary labour supplier invoices.

Highlighting accuracy issues and queries with the Account Manager.

The Candidate:
We really need somebody who has experience of working within DC/Warehouse operations in the role. Strong administration and organisational skills are required as this is a fast-paced, high growth customer.

Experience of managing data in Excel is an essential requirement and it would be ideal if you have experience of working with warehouse management systems (WMS) to export data.

Any relevant finance qualifications would be highly desirable but we are most interested in your experience and approach to work – further training and development will be supported.

The Package:
Salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
