CV Database – Jobseeker
We at Careers Exchange Pty Ltd offer the CV database as a service to people who want their resumes made public to recruiters and potential employers. You accept the following terms and conditions by sending us your CV.
- Send an email to [email protected] to let us know if you no longer want your CV to be made visible in our database. As soon as we are made aware that you no longer want your resume to be made available to associates for job openings, we will stop contacting you about them.
- Please be aware that former colleagues who downloaded your CV won’t be aware that you’re no longer interested in hearing about job prospects, so you’ll need to let them know directly if they get in touch with you about it.
- You guarantee that the material in your CV accurately and truthfully portrays who you are, your qualifications, experience, etc., and that it is current.
- You acknowledge and agree that certain third parties, including recruitment agencies and potential employers (collectively, “associates”), will have access to your CV, which will unavoidably include your contact information and other personal data, in order for them to get in touch with you directly about job openings they think you might be interested in.
- You acknowledge that we are not liable or responsible for the actions or statements of any Associates or employers that we put you in contact with. When contacting anyone who makes the claim to be an Associate and accepting any job offers from them or through them, you should proceed with the utmost caution.
- Include both an email address and a phone number. Date of birth and National Insurance numbers are not necessary.
Viruses
- Although CX has made efforts to ensure that the pages of the Site are virus-free, it makes no guarantees that they are. It is the users’ responsibility to make sure that they have installed the necessary virus checking software.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CX disclaims all liability and responsibility for any viruses or other computer code, files, or programs that interrupt, restrict, destroy, limit the functionality of, compromise the integrity of, or interfere with the use of any computer software or hardware, telecommunications equipment, or other materials transmitted with or as part of:
- the pages on the Site or any other Internet sites; or
- any material downloaded from the Site or any other Internet
Applications and/or Correspondence
Never accept payment from a recruiter or employment agency to set up a meeting or introduction. No money should be sent by job seekers. Such correspondence violates our rules and conditions, so if you get it, let us know right once.
Once an associate has obtained your resume or other personal information through an application or CV download from www.careerjaba.com, they are also in charge of owning and handling that information. Please refer to our privacy statement at https://careerjaba.com/privacy-policy/, which explains how we handle, use, and protect your data. However, once an associate has your contact information, it is up to them to explain to you how they plan to handle and use it.
Passwords
Passwords are only to be used by the person who receives them. If we have a good faith belief that a user is abusing these terms and conditions or that the system is being used by an unauthorized party, we may refuse access.
Please keep your password secure and select a complicated enough one.
Advertising
- We cannot promise that your posting will receive any responses or that those responses will come from people qualified for the position being offered. It is your obligation to conduct the checks and procedures required to confirm that applicants are qualified for the advertised position and possess the appropriate skills and personal traits.
- A job listing will be active on the job site for 30 days or until the specified closing date. Any extension of this deadline will result in a new posting and a charge to the customer. Jobs posted in excess of the predetermined number per month will incur charges at the predetermined overspending rate detailed in your contract.
- Any Services that are supposed to be used within a time period mentioned on the Order Form cannot be carried over into a later period without our prior written authorization. Any unutilized Services must be paid for by the Customer.
- You must notify us in writing via email at least two working days before the advertisement goes live or the contract begins if you wish to cancel or modify an order for a campaign. If any delivery targets have not been met or the vacancy has been filled by a different method or supplier, you are still obligated to pay the full price stated in the order.
- You are accountable for the information you provide to us, including its content, its legality, and its adherence to all applicable laws and regulations of conduct. We have the right to remove any material from display at our discretion if we receive complaints about it or its content, without notifying you or incurring any liability. You agree to hold us harmless from any allegations that the content is harmful, defamatory, or otherwise violates the rights of others or their intellectual property.
- You pledge not to take any actions that would damage the reputation of this job board and to treat people fairly and professionally when you contact them using information from the candidate database. You agree to hold this job site harmless from and against any claims made by third parties based on your failure to comply with this obligation or any other provision of these terms and conditions.
- It is against the law for advertisements that appear to discriminate on the basis of sex, race, or handicap, and both the advertiser and the publication may face legal action. This job board only accepts advertisements if the advertiser certifies that any condition or qualification that would seem to be discriminatory is compliant with any exemption made possible by the applicable laws. Despite this confirmation, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify or remove an advertisement from the job site if we believe it to be discriminatory. In neither case will we be obligated to give you a refund for any fees you have already paid or will soon be required to pay in relation to the posting. We will notify you in this case.
Payments
Prices do not include VAT. All bills must be paid within 30 days after the bill’s date. Contact the sales staff at [email protected] if you are having any issues uploading your job.
Cancellation Policy
The website CareerJaba (www.careerjaba.com) does not accept cancellations during the specified contract dates. The customer has, by law, entered into an agreement that is legally binding upon receipt of the signed/written document. Unused job credits won’t carry over, although they might be extended if you sign a new contract.
If the following conditions are met:
- The Customer is in material violation of these terms and conditions and has not remedied such violation within ten days of notice specifying the violation and requiring that it be remedied.
- The Customer becomes insolvent, ceases to conduct business, or enters liquidation.
