Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent, well known Central London accountancy practice that are keen to appoint a skilled and suitably qualified Private Client Tax Manager to further enhance the firm’s tax advisory service offerings.
Role Requirements
The Firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Tax professional to step into a manager role to work with the tax partners to grow and develop the advisory part of the business.
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Engage client contacts directly offering advisory services.
Identify opportunities to sell additional services to existing clients.
Review work of more junior staff.
Manage a portfolio of private clients including HNWI’s, non-domiciled individuals, UK Trusts and company directors.
Provide specialist ad hoc personal tax planning advice to compliance clients.
Advise on IHT planning and trust set up.
Promote the services of the Firm in relation to HMRC enquiries and investigations into the affairs of personal and trust clients across the Firm.
Liaise with clients and HM Revenue & Customs and attend meetings with both.
An understanding of wider corporate/transaction taxes would be desirable, but not essential.
Person Requirements –
At least 4+ years’ private client tax focused experience at a senior/manager level.
CTA qualified.
Supporting/managing junior member of the tax team.
