Full job description
This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries across the 1500 employees within Rotork UK.
Reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller, the Payroll Manager will have direct report responsibility for the payroll coordinator and will hold accountability for all strategic duties associated with the busy payroll process.
As Payroll Manager you will own the end to end processing of 9 monthly UK payrolls. You will be responsible for month end reporting, year end procedures and HMRC submissions. You will be the escalation point for any payroll disputes and will own the process for bonus and pay review adjustments.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a busy payroll position looking for a fixed term opportunity.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
CIPP Qualification (preferred) or relevant experience
Experience of working with Sage 50 payroll
In depth knowledge & experience of payroll calculation and processing
The Successful Candidate

Will confidently manage payroll discrepancies
Will provide mentor style leadership to the payroll coordinator
