About Our Client

The role is ideal for an Accounts Assistant that has experienced in process improvement whilst training and mentoring other members of the team.
Job Description
Duties and tasks of the Accounts Manager:
Monitoring controls for the transactional finance team ensuring all invoices have been allocated and inputted correctly
Over see any aged debt provisions and escalate and resolve as necessary
Maintain, create and train on process and best practice for department
Oversee and mentor a small finance function working towards KPIs
Maintain all company banking, ensuring all accounts and statements have been reconciled correctly
Monitor workflow and prepare VAT returns
Preparing for month end and maintaining control accounts
The Successful Applicant
Experience required to be successful as the Accounts Manager:
Demonstrable experience and explanation of debits and credits
Ability to manage company bank accounts and reconciliations for multiple accounts
Previous experience of training or mentoring staff members
Understanding of public money management/ grants/ funding
