Assistant Accountant
Seeking a new and exciting role in accountancy? Rafferty Resourcing are proud to be working alongside an expanding and local firm who are on the hunt for talented individuals to join them! You will work within a professional but friendly team who are all dedicated into ensuring their clients have the best service possible. As well as this you will also have the opportunity to learn, progress and develop your skills!
The Role
- Providing customers with accounting and tax related advice
- Preparing VAT returns and company accounts
- Dealing with day to day general company account queries via email and telephone
- Dealing with HMRC and Companies House
- Generating internal and customer reports
- Handling all associated administrative duties
The Person
- Must be able to prepare tax returns and accounts for clients; these include Sole Traders and Limited Companies
- Proficient IT skills (Excel and Word)
- Good knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks and Xero
- Experience working in a accountancy practice – at least 2 years
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
This role would suit a candidate who has already obtained their AAT but is working towards a higher level and is looking to join a super friendly practice!
