Full job description
Purpose: Own and coordinate the accounting and financial transactions in relation to Herleva (our subsidiary responsible for maintenance services), including managing costs and invoicing and recovery of service charges to Registered Providers (RPs)
Responsible to: Group Financial Controller (dotted line into General Manager – Herleva)
Location and hours: Hybrid – Chesterfield/home based. Some limited travel out to regions. You will be able to work flexibly in this role.
Role Responsibilities
Production of accurate and timely management accounts for Herleva Maintenance (Southern) Limited, a subsidiary of the ivolve Group
Relevant financial reporting – internally and to the RPs
Setting of budgets and monitoring performance against them
Monitoring of contractual agreements / responsibilities and related costs across agreements with RPs and ensuring that costs are recharged where appropriate
Reviewing and setting cost frameworks for service charges, ensuring cost recovery
Coordination with finance leads across the regions to ensure costs and income are recognised correctly
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge and experience of working with or for Housing Associations / Registered Providers
Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel
Good written and verbal communication and experience of managing and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally
Ability to work cross functionally with both finance and non-finance
