About Our Client

Our client works with media owners and buyers, and brings them together to deliver impressive results for clients and campaigns across the globe. This role will be central to our client’s finance team, and the successful candidate will engage with both internal and external stakeholders, offering them extensive exposure to all facets of digital out-of-home revenue generation. Based in London’s West End.

Job Description

The key responsibilities for this Revenue Accountant role will be:* Reporting

o Prepare and distribute weekly programmatic revenue reports to the board and senior leadership teams.

o Prepare and issue monthly reports to all media owners (MO’s) in a timely manner.* Invoicing

o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather data for preparing and delivering invoices for Programmatic, Automation, Deployment, and AdServer revenue.

o Ensuring correct VAT Accounting for all customers.

o Diligently follow up on overdue accounts and proactively address concerns at an early stage.* Reconciliation

o Maintaining programmatic revenue spreadsheets for all MO’s. Reconciling programmatic revenue and cost of sales, investigating, and resolving any discrepancies.

o Overall responsibility for maintaining and reconciling the receivables ledger in SAP ByD.* Month-End

o Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare/post all month-end related revenue journals.* Process Improvements

o Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve existing processes.* Ad-Hoc

o Collaborate with members of the finance team on VAT, Audit, Group queries, and ad-hoc projects.

o Liaise with the commercial team and external customer contacts to ensure all due diligence and compliance requirements are met for new customers

The Successful Applicant

The successful Revenue Accountant will have:
Progress towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is a plus.

Working knowledge of revenue processes.

Proficiency in advanced Excel skills, demonstrating confidence manipulating large data sets and working with raw data – VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Queries.
