Full job description
In addition to this, the successful Chief Accountant will:
Balance accounts.
Reconcile ledgers.
Report and resolve discrepancies.
Undertake financial analysis and report findings to senior management.
Undertake month-end processes including reconciliations and journal entries.
Co-ordinate the finance team to ensure tasks are undertaken in line with deadlines.
Generate financial reports and statements to Business Managers for review.
Monitor expenditures, analyse revenue, and determine budget variances, as well as report these findings monthly.
Respond to financial enquiries from senior management in a timely fashion.
Provide support and guidance to the wider finance team.
Report actuals vs. budget.
Monitor tax.
The successful Chief Accountant will:
Be fully ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
Have four years of relevant accountancy experience
Be confident with Microsoft 365 and Xero
In addition to working for a company that is undergoing quick growth, the successful Chief Accountant can look forward to a starting salary of up to £70,000. Based in Clapham, the successful Chief Accountant would need to come into the office five days a week, for the first six months, before moving to a hybrid working model.
