Come and join our Cook Family as Accountant
We are looking for someone from a Manufacturing Background
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
To produce and distribute accurate weekly reports for the kitchens to the operational leaders and regular KPI reporting. Analsye the performance and suggest improvements. To look at the existing reports and processes and suggest how they can be improved. To assist in the period end processes and reporting as well as the annual budgeting process.
To support the manufacturing team and produce additional analysis as and when required.
Additionally assist in the production processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General

3. Responsibilities
4. Produce and distribute weekly production variance reports for the kitchens
5. Weekly KPI reporting including producing presentations
6. Analysis and review performance to help with decision making
7. Month end processes including accruals, prepayments and general journal processing
8. Collating and reviewing P&L’s
9. Control account reconciliations
10. Site stock take processing
11. Other tasks as required by the team
Team
1. Working closely in a team responsible for the production and analysis of production information.
2. Collaboration with our manufacturing teams to analyse and improve our production efficiencies.
3. To support and offer advice to other members of the Ops Finance team in helping to achieve the department’s objectives.
4. IDEAL CANDIDATE:
5. Minimum AAT qualified – preferably studying CIMA/ACCA.
6. Management accounts experience including month end processes
7. Strong Excel skills including V-Lookups and Pivot tables
8. Ability to analyse information and make recommendations
9. Ability to produce additional analysis that will assist in improving efficiencies
10. Strong communication skills – this role requires you to liaise with a variety of different teams from different areas of the business
11. Methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reporting
12. Strong time management skills to manage workload and ensure deadlines are met whilst also being a team player.
13. Adaptive – production needs are constantly changing so will need to be reactive and able to use initiative
14. Experience of manufacturing environment and variance analysis
15. Experience of standard costings and absorption accounting
16. Used to working in fast moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
ENVIRONMENT:
1. This is an office based role to be available to the manufacturing teams.
2. The post holder will be required to work with a variety of different people such as Board Members, Department Heads, kitchen staff, contractors, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
