This International group are searching for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their expanding Business Tax Department. The role requires an individual who is eager to assist in managing a team of tax professionals throughout their work to ensure a streamlined approach to delivering all tax services provided.

Description

This role entails assisting in managing an international corporate tax team, across a broad aspect of tax compliance and advisory matters. This position would be within a growing team of 20 members, where the right candidate would join as an Assistant Manager to aid in creating efficiency’s and streamlining all tax affairs for their broad range of clients.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Assist in managing a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient delivery of tax services.

Oversee the preparation and review of complex business tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Work succinctly with clients to provide expert tax planning and advisory services, optimising their tax positions, and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

Lead discussions on international tax matters, including transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and tax treaties.

Manage strong relationships with clients.

Conduct in-depth research on intricate tax issues, proposing innovative solutions and staying updated on industry developments globally.

Requirements

ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified with preferably 2 years of relevant experience in tax advisory or compliance.

Proven experience in managing junior accountants, showcasing strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Sound knowledge of UK tax laws, regulations, and international taxation principles.

Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services to diverse businesses.

Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in tax reporting and compliance.

Ability to manage multiple client engagements independently.
