Senior Tax Manager at Robert Half

We are looking for an Experienced Tax Professional to join a Global Energy Giant as a Senior Tax Manager. Paying £85k and based in Central London with hybrid working. This position is sat within an exciting project, and you will be responsible for building and setting up the tax function from scratch. This is therefore a great opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role

This position will involve setting up a tax function, which you will then spearhead.

You will be responsible for managing UK Tax Reporting, this will involve the planning, budgeting, forecasting and outturn reporting of all tax numbers for both Indirect and Direct taxes.

Managing the tax compliance process to ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring deadlines are met.

Providing advice and support to stakeholders on how existing and new tax legislation impacts the business and other transactions to ensure tax efficiency.

Managing and mitigating tax risk, ensuring that any adjustments are made for any perceived control failures.

Your Profile

You will ideally be CTA qualified and possess significant Tax experience.

Candidates who are not CTA qualified but who possess significant Tax experience are also welcome to apply.

Candidates coming directly from practice are welcome to apply however some form of experience within industry is preferred.

All candidates will need to have experience with both direct and indirect tax.
