Management Accountant at Accountancy Recruitment

My client is Rug Doctor, a successful US corporation which has its UK finance hub in East Worthing. The finance director is looking for a commercially minded business analyst or management accountant with strong experience in budgeting and forecasting to join her team.

Your remit will be as follows:

To analyse management data and produce regular management reports, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually for the UK management team and also for US management. To support management reporting with clear, concise explanations and commentary.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Financial reporting and revenue analysis.
• Assist in development of annual budget and reforecasts.
• Month-end processes and procedures.
• Monthly income accrual.
• Self-billing & commission accruals.
• Web-booking partial refunds/vouchers, credit notes and refunds.
• Sales reporting – predictions, forecasts and budgets.
• Produce and distribute month end / quarterly reports including US presentation pack.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Month end reporting and assisting in year-end statutory audit, preparation of final schedules and financial statements.

Our ideal candidate for this challenging opportunity will be a part-qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant with proven experience in the key aspects of the role. You will have a background in retail/distribution or manufacturing/industrial accounting and be a great communicator who enjoys working effectively with both finance and operational colleagues.

Hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with WFH two days per week. Holiday allowance is 20 days.
