• Credentials: Must be AAT, ACCA, or ACA certified, with demonstrable experience in management accounting roles.

• Excel Mastery: Proficient in complex Excel functionalities like pivot tables, lookups, and sumifs.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Meticulous preparation of monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments, and accompanying analyses.
• Account Reconciliation: Rigorous balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Strategic Presentations: Articulate communication of key financial indicators to the Managing Director.
• Compliance: Timely and accurate filing of UK VAT returns.
• Cashflow Management: Daily cashflow reporting and financial risk assessment.
• Process Optimization: Identifying, developing, and implementing improvements in financial processes.
• Forecasting: Skillful preparation of predictive financial models and forecasts.
• Ledger Management: Effective oversight of sales and purchase ledgers.
• Credit Control: Assist in managing and improving credit control procedures.
