Part-Qualified Management Accountant at APEM

About The Role

Are you looking to gain exposure to both management and financial accounting, whilst being given support to become a qualified Accountant? Do you want responsibility for your own business area, providing Managers with the financial information they need to make key decisions? We are looking for an aspiring Management Accountant to join our team in Manchester. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about the world around us as they are about their career. We are looking for someone who is either:

Recently AAT qualified Accounts Assistant and ready to make the next move. Or

In their first year of study (CIMA or ACCA) and looking for a more in-depth role. Or

A recent finance graduate with 6+ months practical experience in month end or management accounting

You will support the central finance team with the close of month end, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You should have had some experience in the preparation and posting of journals including accruals and prepayments. Ideally you will also have knowledge and experience of preparing management accounts and carrying out variance analysis. Balance Sheet reconciliations and VAT return experience would also be highly advantageous.
