Group Treasury Accountant at Redde Northgate plc

Location: Darlington with hybrid working

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 inclusive of car allowance

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday

Following continued business growth we are recruiting a newly created position for a Group Treasury Accountant. If you have experience or an interest in treasury as well as an eye for detail, this could be a great fit for you! Day-to-day you will be responsible for the cash management of our complex group across geographies and currencies, as well as daily cash flow reporting and forecasting. You’ll ensure our cash position is optimised and support on the development of treasury processes and reporting.

Outside of your day-to-day role there will be the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects, such as the automation and re-designing of our treasury reporting to senior stakeholders. We are also keen to utilise new banking technologies to enhance banking and operational processes.

About you

You will ideally be at least a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ACT) with an interest or experience in treasury

Any experience working in a treasury role or similar is advantageous.

You’ll need advanced Excel skills and be confident in building up relationships at all levels, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities and the capability to work on your own initiative to drive results and improvements.
