Full job description
Job overview:
Working with the business owner overseeing three small businesses, you will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and internal management team to ensure that all parties are fully aware of the status of their orders.
With excellent Excel and IT skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative, you will be a key player in ensuring that the administration of the businesses flows smoothly, ensuring that optimum levels of customer service are maintained at all times. You will be required to maintain a clear and well documented filing system and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate data entry of all invoices and sales receipts
Daily customer order processing / Invoicing
Using both Excel and in-house IT Systems
Production of weekly planning schedules to ensure everyone is kept up to date
Highly organised and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational/time management
Excellent communication skills
Enter jobs completed on to the monthly invoice spreadsheet against each supplier.
End of the month produce a monthly invoice to the supplier against all jobs completed.
Provide a statement to the supplier with money outstanding
Chase up outstanding payments once a month
Provide email ations to suppliers, which are given to you
Issue purchase orders, allocate time sheet, feed back profit or loss on each order
Enter all purchase invoices on to Xero accounting system ready for the accountant to oversee
Answer busy office phone liaising with clients and suppliers
Once a month produce list of all suppliers that are due to be paid
Filing of all invoices / purchases
Place Stationary orders for the office as and when required

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £21,827.00-£22,662.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Folkestone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
