Full job description
Bookkeeper – full or part time
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/accounts professional to join a growing business where, over time, you will be able to develop and build a team.
The role is offered with hybrid working – 4 days per week working from home and 1 day per week to be office based. Options for both full or part time hours, ideally a minimum of 30 hours per week.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the bookkeeping for numerous UK sites. This is a high volume, fast paced position.
Key responsibilities are:
· Monthly financial reporting.
· Cashflow management.
· Processing financial transactions.
· Bank reconciliations.
· VAT returns.
· Monthly payroll preparation.
· Sales ledger and credit control.
· Company expenses.
You should have at least 5 years previous bookkeeping/accounts experience with excellent organisation and attention to detail. You will be IT literate and a knowledge of Xero would be advantageous.
Ideally you will be at least AAT qualified and study support can be offered, if required.
