Full job description

We are a small, friendly establishment with 2 companies, and we are seeking a new bookkeeper to join our team.

Experience in working on Xero accounting software is essential.

You will be responsible for the bookkeeping works on the Two companies including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations and submitting of VAT returns.

Experience in payroll is also essential as you will be paying employees on a weekly and monthly basis.

Part-time hours: 10 -14 hours per week

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Duties include:

  • Experience in preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Weekly and monthly payment runs
  • CIS and PAYE submissions
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Expenses and Payroll
  • Management Accounts (Quarterly)
  • Company Budgets
  • Adhoc finance-related tasks
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit account applications
  • Credit control
  • Managing all finance-related emails.
