Full job description
Reporting to the national Head of Tax in this role you will provide a tax advisory service to individuals, estates and trusts. You will also be playing a key role in the wider team, for example in the management of juniors.
You will be responsible for:
Dealing with complex tax cases for HNWI/UHNWI individuals and their interests. This will include clients with offshore interests.
Advising on IHT, CGT and income tax for individuals
Providing full range of tax advice to trusts and estates
Supporting the compliance teams, through a review and supervisory role
Advising clients on tax issues, and how to minimise their tax liabilities
Providing tax advice and compliance support to other teams
Planning team in connection with estate and trust matters
Helping clients bring their tax affairs up to date using HMRC disclosures
Researching, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
About You
Qualified Chartered Accountant, CTA or ATT with experience in a relevant role
Experience working in a relevant tax role dealing with more complex work
Ability to give expert and authoritative tax advice in specialist and complex areas
Ability to research areas of tax & other topics/issues to maintain expertise
Analysis of complex tax problems, providing interpretation and making recommendations
