Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a global organisation, with an instantly recognisable brand and fantastic products in supermarkets across the world.
This well established company have a strong presence over seas, and now have ambitious growth plans to expand within their market and start building a robust finance team in their Harrogate offices, starting with a Commercial Finance Manager to report into a highly experienced Finance Director.
Initially this role will have no direct reports and will make up a lean finance team, however this is likely to change as the business continues to grow.
As the Commercial Finance Manager, your role will include the following duties:-
- Fully responsible for financial modelling, confidently producing short and long term scenarios for the business
- Business partner with non financial departments across the business, UK and internationally, to provide sound commercial advice to senior stakeholders
- Ownership of the annual and quarterly forecasting process, improving the current forecasting model in place to produce effective and meaningful information for the business
- Develop the current systems and processes that are in place
- Focus on projects around product profitability and product success, producing insightful financial analysis
- Cash flow management across the UK and overseas
- Produce detailed financial reporting
To be considered to work for this fantastic company, you will need to have the following experience:-
- Be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience
- A strong and effective communicator
- Ideally have experience working with FMCG or retail
- Commercial awareness and a confident communicator
- Strong financial models skills
