Job Description

As Finance Manager you will come to cover the maternity leave of our Finance Director in the UK, part of your responsibilities will be overseeing daily financial operations, building key cross-functional relationships, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting for nine UK entities. Your role includes implementing and keeping financial controls, managing audits, and optimising payment processes. Collaborate with key stakeholders and make an impact on our finance team.

What you can expect:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department covering financial accounting, accounts payables and accounts receivables.

Foster collaborative relationships with the UK unit manager and other key stakeholders to offer guidance and technical expertise as needed, while also engaging with our parent entity DO&CO Aktiengesellschaft in Vienna

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting for nine UK legal entities.

Supervise financial controls and procedures are adhered to and develop and implement where appropriate.

Deliver the local and group audit through working with the external auditors to ensure that the company’s financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Managing the UK audit process and ensuring that any identified issues are resolved promptly.

Prepare and analyse financial statements covering profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow.

Drive timely payment to suppliers and the prompt issuance of customer invoices, taking a pivotal role in process enhancements within the team

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:
UK accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

5 years post qualification experience in a senior finance role

Experience in UK Statutory Accounts submission

Able to work with auditors at both local and group level to deliver multiple audits in tight timeframe.

Experience in managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
