Commercial Finance Manager, Interim position. 6 months in duration.

This exceptional position would suit a seasoned Finance Professional with a reputation for having the strongest levels of commercial acumen. Working for a progressive business your communication, foresight, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills will be of great importance for sustainable improved business performance.

You will be right into the strategic and hands on element of the role with a first-class skills centric FP&A team. You will enable and lead a team to include finance business partners, analysts, and data insight. The financial reporting is of great importance, and you will be challenged from the off with ensuring that the UK board receive an updated, accurate and well documented MI analysis, to ensure strategic decision making is precise and encourages fresh ideas.

Key responsibilities:

• Senior business partnering to Directors including sales, marketing, and all areas of supply chain.
• Project lead on several different areas, to include in-depth financial analysis, data gathering, processing, and validating, lease calculations, working to the project plan, ensuring milestones and development of reports.
• It is essential for the success of the project, that you can quickly embed yourself and build relationships within the wider business.
• Responsible for analysing and making recommendations on the business change needed.
• Strategic financial planning and presentations to the board.
• Interacting with the wider business to establish best practice and process improvements.

What the business require:

• A qualified accountant with previous commercial analysis and successful completion of projects driving commercial change for improved business performance.
• Strategic experience working alongside operational functions of a large Plc.
• A strong communicator who can also interpret complex financial data to operational teams is a prerequisite.

Key Duties:
-Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
– Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
– Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Skills Required:
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Proven experience in commercial management.
– Proficient in using computer software and tools for data analysis.
– Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team.
