Full job description
Bloxham School is seeking to appoint a Sales Ledger Controller to manage the sales ledger, billing and credit control.
Responsible for:
- Managing the sales ledger.
- Maintaining correct billing information.
- Processing bursaries, scholarships, and discounts.
- Fulfilling the reporting requirements for funded pupils.
- Administering the direct debit collection process.
- Managing the fees in advance scheme records.
- Preparing and issuing fees and extras bills.
- Providing prompt responses to billing queries from parents having liaised with the appropriate members of staff.
- Managing the credit control process
- Producing sales invoices and receipts for Bloxham Enterprise using the appropriate VAT rates.
- Processing deposit refunds including overseas student refunds using the flywire account.
- Maintaining financial records for the laptop schemes.
- Authorising payments.
- Creating and maintaining policies and procedures for the sales ledger.
- Any other ad hoc duty as requested by the Finance Controller.
Working hours: 37.5 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
