Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Post invoices and receipts in the ledger in a timely and accurate manner and allocating to correct invoices. Ensuring that sales ledger is fully reconciled. Assist the Office Manager in working with internal staff to identify invoicing information errors. Assisting in chasing debtors to ensure the sales ledger is updated.

· To produce and generate all sales invoices on customers ISupplier Portals. To ensure all invoices are entered on the accounting software in an accurate and timely manner.

· To provide performance data from the ISupplier Portals to the Sales team and to inform them of any discrepancies that may arise.

· To send timely and accurate statements and invoices to customers and be responsible for the management of the debtors’ ledger

· To chase any outstanding debts to ensure the Debtors ledger is kept up to date and old or disputed debts are escalated to the office Manager or financial Controller.

· To reconcile on a daily basis all sales from the route/van drivers and cash totals are recorded and monies banked.

· To assist with customer contact on a weekly basis to inform of new products and promotions and to encourage sales from existing customers

· Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.

· Manage Phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages etc.)

· Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.

· Organise and track sales pallets and book deliveries to Customers.

· Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.

· Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc for senior management.

· To update social media posts and to reply and communicate with any messages received.

· Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

· Respond to any other duties requested in response to the business needs

· Flexibility to cover roles and responsibilities of office staff for holidays

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £10.75-£11.50 per hour
