Bookkeeper – Part Time at Twist Teas

Salary: £15-18 per hour

Job Role – Bookkeeper: 1 Day Per Week

A flexible opportunity has arisen for a qualified bookkeeper required to enter, maintain and report small company accounts at our family-run business based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The right candidate may be able to work from home however, it is of preference that they are in office.

Experience, Knowledge, and qualifications

• Fully or part qualified (AAT/IAB/ICB) or QBE 2+ years
• Highly computer literate (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, and Google Drive)
• Must be experienced, analytical, well organised, efficient and skilled in keeping track of company accounts.
• Capable of analysing and presenting financial and management data.
• Have in-depth knowledge of Xero software and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; able to create and present spreadsheets and analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Cost control
• Receivables Management and Control
• Preparing monthly financial statements including three year Forecast, cash flow forecast, profit and loss and balance sheets
• Entering and paying supplier invoices and tracking payments
• Credit control
• Stock control (reporting)
• Bank account reconciliation
• Verifying the accuracy of business model and forecasts

HOURS : 1 day per week – 8-5hrs (1 hour lunch – paid )

A tea that’s specifically designed to be drunk cold or one that tastes so good it must be bad (but isn’t). We like to think of them as Blends With Benefits.

Now, we have a range of over 50 delicious, healthy and innovative blends that are available direct through our website, and in cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices and independent retailers all over the UK.
