Dupoin UK Ltd is a UK-based FX/CFD broker headquartered in Manchester. It is a global financial technology company that aims to lead the global FX industry with transparent, fair, precise, and consistent trade execution.
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our company headquartered in Manchester city centre.
About the job
Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, you will take a high degree of responsibility for the accounting of numerous assets and therefore enjoy a well-rounded role, that will give you a high degree of visibility to the wider group. You will provide and explain accurate & timely financial performance information to key stakeholders and be responsible for the budget & forecast preparation, along with the cashflow management & reporting management.
Duties and responsibilities
· Assist in month-end reporting activities, including processing the general ledger transactions and adjustments
· Produce monthly management accounts and KPI’s
· Perform month end reconciliations, some data entry on Xero will be necessary
· Monitor and reconcile daily trades to ensure the accuracy on balance sheet
· Produce Budget and cashflow forecasts
· Analysis of operational performance
· Appling of accruals and prepayments
· Small aspect of purchase/sales ledger
· Possible payroll experience
· Lead, support and advise the business stakeholders on financial processes
· Produce policies and procedures to strengthen the business strategic financial approach
· Identify efficiencies and process improvements
· Other ad hoc duties as is required in a hands-on varied role
· Line Manage one direct report
Essential skills/requirements
· Strong numerical and analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Strategic thinker and ability to contribute at all levels
· Confidence to support in other areas of the business from a financial perspective and drive change
· Be able to work to deadlines
· Ability to work independently is required.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Problem solving and decision-making aptitude.
· Integrity and reliability.
· High level analysis and reporting.
· Full proficiency in English is mandatory. Mandarin is advantageous.
· Working within the financial industry would be beneficial but not necessary.
· Working on-site is required.
Qualifications
· Good knowledge of Xero
· Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
· Qualified CIMA / ICAEW / ACCA
