Lead Financial Accountant at Huntress

A powerhouse within the financial software industry is looking for a Lead Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 9 month contract – This will be a hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote each week.

Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Analyses current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Skills / Experience Required

• Strong technical (US GAAP or IFRS) and financial accounting expertise.
• Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations).
• Compliance filing experience (Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax).
• Strong communication, presenting and excel skills.
• Large accounting software package expertise desirable (Oracle financials preferred).
• Post Audit experience in industry
• Professional Accounting designation required.
• Trained at, or coming from, a Big 4/Top 10 Accounting firm.
