Financial Accountant – Securities Trading Firm (6 month contract)

A London based Fintech Trading firm are seeking a financial accountant on a contract/interim basis for 6 months for an immediate start. The business has being going through a growth spurt and need the extra resource.

This is a temporary role paying in the region £425-450 per day via umbrella and you’ll expect to be in the office about 4 days a week.

The role responsibilities will include:

• Legal entity financial control – maintain books and records in the GL
• Preparing balance sheet and PnL reconciliations
• Assiting with preparation for the annual audit
• Assisting with statutory accounts
• Assisting with group tax reconciliations
• Prepare and review journals

What the firm are looking for in the candidate:

• You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ACMA)
• You must have strong debits and credits experience and experience of financial accounting
• Financial servicesexperience, especially in a trading environment is a hugely preferable
• You will be immediately available / able to start within 2 weeks
