Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organised Part-Time Office and HR Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to both the office management and human resources functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in an administrative and HR capacity while working part-time. Please note that this role may lead to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

  • Assist in daily office operations, including managing emails, phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain and organise office supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications and documents.
  • Place purchase orders and liaise with suppliers as needed.

2. HR Assistance:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job listings and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including paperwork and orientation.
  • Maintain and update HR records and databases.
  • Help coordinate employee training and development activities.

3. Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Documentation and Filing:

  • Maintain accurate and organised physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

5. General Support:

  • Provide assistance to other departments and team members as needed.
  • Assist in planning and organising company events or meetings.

Requirements and skills:

  • GCSE or above
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of human resources practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Schedule:

  • Minimum 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Starting from £12,000
  • On-site parking
