Sirva is now seeking an International Payroll Manager to deliver the payroll function success in the EMEA & APAC regions. This opportunity is a leadership role with exposure to multiple countries in either region.
This role is available to applicants in the following APAC locations – Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, UAE. Note that our candidate must have flexibility to their working hours to partner with US-based counter parts & HRIS teams.

A critical role that will work with internal teams (HR, Finance) together our international payroll providers and other relevant third parties to lead and oversee the day to day payroll function alongside leading the international payroll transformation initiatives. The role will manage a small international team split between EMEA & APAC. The International Payroll Manager will be a key strategy maker for the International payroll operations, will deliver structure, automation and strength to the international payroll process. The role is required to be ‘hands on’ with the successful individual analytical and self-driven to achieve project requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee current/future state business as usual activities, managing a small team of payroll specialists. This may include processing some monthly payrolls.
- Lead international payroll implementations and transform the function to be an efficient services model
- Understand current operations and identify areas of opportunity and incorporate automation within existing process
- Partner with our global HRIS team to evolve and shape sound system data fit for multiple functional use (HR & payroll reporting)
- Create and foster collaborative relationships with internal partners such as Finance, HR and other key functions to ensure holistic delivery of payroll outcomes
- Create scalable infrastructure and consistency for International payroll processes and reporting through automation
- Prepare and execute UAT and parallel testing for various payroll projects including implementation and optimization of new or existing payroll-related systems
- Assist with providing direction, training, and coaching to payroll team members
- Support payroll tax and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple international jurisdictions
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Manage all internal and external integrations, investigate data feed issues and implement on-going reconciliation processes
- Lead technical solutions and collaborate with external payroll partner/consultants/team members to streamline reporting between HR and Finance

You understand various countries payroll & benefits complexity’s and have the ability to apply this knowledge to Sirva’s payroll function success.
As a leader you will be able to influence your team members to act in their localized payroll location under the broader Sirva purpose.
Previous experience in systems such as ADP & Ceridian are highly advantageous while also possessing an expertise in MS Office.
