Job Overview

Based at our Penrith office, we’re looking to strengthen our external sales team with a friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Business Development Manager, with the ability to deliver profitable sales growth. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage and grow sales with an existing account base of regular Heatons customers.
  • Working to targets, identify and pursue new, profitable business opportunities to achieve overall sales growth.
  • Working with our internal support staff, successfully onboard and integrate new customers.
  • Function as the main point of contact in all matters relating to new sales opportunities, customer requirements and concerns.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships via telephone, email, video calls and external meetings, to achieve long-term business partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Educated to degree level or 2 years professional experience in a sales or customer service role

Ability to multi-task and manage several responsibilities simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to deliver confident presentations

High attention to detail

Strong organisational skills

Prospecting skills

Strong people skills with an ability to build relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
