- Leading the curriculum and pastoral team in ensuring that collaboration between students, parents/carers and staff promotes positive behaviour
- Leading the effective use of data to triangulate academic progress, attendance, and behaviour to ensure all barriers to students making positive progress are removed.
Why choose New Mills School?
Our school is warm and welcoming, inclusive, and caring. One of our strengths is in our size – we are large enough to offer a broad curriculum and a range of extra-curricular experiences for our students but small enough to get to know everyone very quickly.
We are positioned on the edge of the High Peak, close to the Peak District National Park, yet within easy reach of the centres of Stockport, Manchester, and Macclesfield.
We can offer you a warm welcome, our full support, appropriate, relevant CPD and beautiful High Peak views.
Please feel free to visit on our Open Evening on Thursday 28th September, 5pm to 8pm, where you will see our school alive with activity; we are confident you will be impressed with the enthusiasm and teamwork you will see. You are also encouraged to contact Pete Eckersley via [email protected] if you wish to attend any of the Headteacher tours available on Tuesday, 3rd October at 4pm or Wednesday, 4th October at 8am.
The full job description, personal specification, and further school information are attached.
