Full job description
As Appian’s Digital Marketing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the digital marketing strategy across the EMEA region in close collaboration with the Corporate Digital Marketing Team.This role is based in the United Kingdom and is part of the Digital Marketing Group, reporting to the Sr. Director of Digital Activation.
You will be results driven and will work closely with marketing professionals, plus other departments to ensure that our digital marketing efforts align with overall business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends, as well as the ability to be hands-on to get work done.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the success of all Paid Media (Display, PPC, Paid Social) and Web (SEO/SEM) campaigns and activities within EMEA.
Execute and implement EMEA Digital paid Media Marketing plan which forms part of and is closely aligned with Appian’s Global Digital Marketing plan.
Support sales objectives by focusing on digital activities primarily on demand generation, and growing the Appian Brand and pipeline in EMEA.
Manage and optimize the promotion of localized field marketing campaigns through paid media and Web marketing activities, with the objective of driving demand and increasing website traffic.
Help develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that supports business objectives and drives revenue growth.
Collaborate with other departments outside of marketing, such as sales, solution
consulting and customer success to ensure that digital marketing efforts align with overall business goals.
Keep up to speed with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices, plus take
ownership and champion the implementation and adoption of new strategies and tools.
Analyze and report on the performance of all digital marketing initiatives, using data to
drive decision-making.
Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the team to experiment
with new ideas and approaches.
Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing digital campaigns to support Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a closely related field.
9+ years of experience in B2B technology digital marketing, preferably in enterprise
software, with a proven track record of driving change.
Deep knowledge of the digital marketing tech stack in conjunction with all aspects of the
sales pipeline funnel.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to experiment and try new approaches.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms is expected. Tools such as
Salesforce, Pardot, 6Sense. ABM technology Folloze is a plus.
Language: Fluent in spoken and written English. Other languages (French, German, Italian, and Spanish) are a plus.
Experience in SEO/SEM, PPC, Paid and Organic social Media, and display advertising campaigns.
Solid knowledge of Google analytics tools
