Job Title: Children’s Care Assistant – Trainee

Location: Ilford

Salary: £10.42 per hour, £35 per sleep and £12.75 per hour for bank holidays

We are looking for committed residential support workers to join our team in providing care for children and teenagers in our client’s residential care homes.

Responsibilities include:

– Creating and maintaining a positive environment for the children.

– Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children develop self-esteem and confidence.

– Monitoring and managing children’s behaviour.

– Developing and implementing daily routines, activities and programs.

– Communicating children’s progress and needs to the appropriate team members.

– Undertaking domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.

Requirements:

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– The ability to work well as a part of a team.

– The ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.

– A positive outlook and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.

– A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is preferred.

Casual working can be utilised as an additional income, weekend job, to compliment your studies or for many of our team, can be used to obtain full-time position.

Successful candidates must have an online enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain a brand-new one.
