Westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an Account Manager for our world-renowned client with an immediate start available. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business who put their employees first!

Company Benefits

· Salary Range £40,000 – £49,000

· 40 Hrs per week Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm & Fridays 8.30am – 3.30pm

· 25 days holiday per annum, plus 9 set holidays (Pro rata in first year January to December)

Role Responsibilities

· Foster and enhance customer relationships by communicating their needs and expectations to the relevant departments within the company, ensuring the continuous satisfaction of customers.

· Timely preparation and submission of quotations, ensuring full compliance with customer RFQ (Request for Quotation) requirements and clear identification of any exceptions or conditions in the quotation response.

· Collaborate with internal departments across various locations to ensure the effective development of bids.

· Assist the Commercial Manager in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial Department, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely bids.

· Occasionally participate in field sales activities and customer visits when necessary.

· Monitor account performance using key metrics to provide guidance and direction.

· Collaborate with the Sales Director to provide necessary information for negotiating high-value and complex bids.

· Serve as a role model for team members, demonstrating dedication to all tasks, strong work ethics, and a positive representation of the company.

· Demonstrate confident presentation skills, professionalism, interpersonal aptitude, effective time management, and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of job execution, whether internally or when interacting with customers.

Professional Experience & Education

· Previous expertise and background in a Sales or Commercial position in the Oil and Gas (O&G) sector or a related industry.

· Proficiency in handling machined components and intricate assemblies.

· Demonstrated experience in managing and taking responsibility for teams or projects.

· Experience in both Sales and Operational roles would be beneficial.

· Evidence of engagement in customer-facing roles or activities associated with Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

· Knowledge of metallurgy and materials commonly used in the Oil and Gas industry would be advantageous.
