GENERAL ASSISTANT

Full time | Permanent 40 hours per week | £22,755 | Ambleside

We’re looking for a proactive, friendly and versatile General Assistant to join our Guest Services Team.

As one of our General Assistants, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our venue and customer experience for a broad range of customers and clients. It’s a customer-facing role, so ensuring an outstanding experience is always received is a top priority. You’ll be front of house among the hub of activity and will be focused on the delivery of our food and beverage offering, as well as ensuring general housekeeping is of an exceptional standard.

To excel in this role, you’ll have:
Evidence of previous experience relevant to the role

Excellent team working skills

Experience of working in a customer focused environment

Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Experience of cash handling and till operation

Desirable:
GCSE English or equivalent

Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, First Aid etc.)
