Job Title: Finance Manager
Reporting to: CEO/Director

Skirting4Less Limited is a reputable manufacturing firm that produces custom-made skirting boards, architraves, windows boards, and other MDF products. We take pride in our high- quality designs and have established ourselves as a trusted platform for interior designers, property developers, tradespersons, and DIY enthusiasts.
We seek a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team as we embark on a new phase of our business. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our finance functions’ smooth and efficient operation, which we are building from scratch.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibility
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Manage cash flow, monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Oversee inventory management and control to optimise stock levels and minimise wastage.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in a banking or finance- related industry.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
- High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive financial matters.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
