Account Manager, Telford
Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with a long established and successful medicals and occupational health services company. Due to continued growth, they now seek an experienced and highly driven Account Manager in their busy Telford office to help them continue their impressive growth and maintain their position as the market leader in driver health.
The role:
- Manage and develop customer relationships
- Monitor and report customer and competitor activity
- Manager communication with key internal stakeholders – marketing, sales, and operations
- Network with customers and decision makers.
- Increase profitability of existing customer relationships.
- Maintain regular contact with key account customers and identify sales opportunities.
- Arrange and attend meetings with customers across the UK.
- Ensure all business customer relationships are effectively managed.
- Support with promotional and new product/service campaigns.
- Ensure new customers are effectively onboarded.
- Identify and close opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services and packages.
- Manage and maintain aged debt within agreed limits.
- Record and maintain accurate records using a CRM system.
- Gather data and insights to support with sales campaign planning.
- Participating in outbound sales campaigns to support the sales team.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Resolve or escalate customer queries quickly and effectively to maintain high retention levels.
- Provide presentations and/or demos to prospective customers.
- Attend events and industry exhibitions to promote company services and increase sales.
- Ensure all contractual SLA’s and expectations are met and implement improvements where required.
- Work closely with and support the sales manager to achieve or exceed KPI’s and business objectives.
- You will be given access to a company vehicle when attending customer site visits.
The person:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in sales/account manager roles
- Industry experience is strongly preferred but not necessary
- Proven ability to meet and exceed KPI’s.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office including Excel.
- Previous experience of using CRM software.
- Personable and able to build rapport quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Dynamic approach – able to manage a busy and varied workload.
- Full UK driving license.

- A competitive basic of up to £32,000 p/a depending on experience
