We are looking for Senior Accountant for our client in London SE16.

Job Details as Senior Accountant

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Location: London SE16
Salary: 35000 – 38000 Per Annum
Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9am – 5pm

Requirements as Senior Accountant

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Senior Accountant
• Proficient in IRIS, XERO
• proven track record of managing their own client portfolio
• ICAEW/ACCA qualification or be in the process of obtaining one
• Have already worked with international client
• Strong knowledge of Audit and Control systems
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial
• Ability to conduct research on technical matters, provide client advice, and participate in meetings
• Self-motivation, professionalism, and an aptitude for problem-solving are high desirable

Duties as Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant’s primary role involves overseeing the preparation of management accounts for approximately 100 – 120 clients. Additionally, the role encompasses:

• Managing quarterly PAYE processes
• Assisting senior personnel in supervising statutory accounts projects
• Handling end-of-year payroll filings, including P60s, Dividend Vouchers, and RTI
• Thoughtfully reviewing work submitted by junior team members and delivering constructive feedback
• Assessing financial information for both management and final approval purposes
• Compiling client VAT returns
• Generating budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc data for clients
• Keeping current with relevant technical literature and updates
• Remaining informed on technical advancements

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
