Job Description:

We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to provide support to our residents. This position is responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and providing support to the residents. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of compassion and empathy for all people.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a DBS check
  • Must have references
  • Must be Flexible (including weekend work & Bank Holiday)
  • Must be polite & patient

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting residents each morning
  • Provide residents with food and drink as directed by the resident. (Must be comfortable using food and drink)
  • Assist residents with bathing as necessary. (Must be comfortable bathing)
  • Assist the residents as they move around the home.
  • Maintain a pleasant and positive environment for residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the resident’s personal space areas.
  • Complete daily medication reminders.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-42 per week

Salary: £10.45-£11.45 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Westcliff-on-Sea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Care/Care home: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day shift (preferred)
  • Night shift (preferred)
  • Overnight shift (preferred)
