Full job description
We have an exciting position available here at BES Utilities for a target driven Key Account Manager to assist in the development of our high value accounts within our offices in Fleetwood.
Reporting to the Head of Revenue & Recovery, the successful candidate will be very proactive and deliver excellent service to the key accounts including Large multi TPI contracts, with a focus on commercial growth and customer excellence.
Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
- Building upon your existing relationships and exploring new opportunities for sales and growth
- Debt recovery, encouraging and maintaining financial and commercial stability
- To recognise and optimise opportunities with the aim of converting client requirements into potential commercial growth
- Prepare regular pipeline forecasts for each of your allocated clients
- Using great communication skills, establish client budgets, elevate their current requirements and work with them to develop any requirements they may have
- Proficiently use Junifer to record all contract, purchase, and sales activities against allocated clients
- Work alongside the project, operation teams to ensure all solution sales are correctly delivere
- Maintaining an up to date understanding of market trends as well as competitor activities and potential new revenue streams
- Account maintenance and management ensuring reads, payments and bills are accurate monthly.
The Candidate:
- Must be commercially aware and proactive with a proven background in Utilities Account Management and / or Technology Sales within an MSP environment
- Excellent organisations skills are essential
- Strategic thinker who can spot, convert, and close opportunities
- An effective communicator with excellent presentation skills
- A resourceful team player who is comfortable with both seeking and aiding their peers when needed
- Self-motivated and resolution minded
- Methodical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
Essential Skills:
- Experience of delivering customer service at exceptional levels in all forms of communication
- Key Account/Account Management experience
- Familiar with the use of Junifer
- Able to identify sale retention opportunities
- Debt collection proficient
- Have strong understanding and experience with all operational workstreams and Teams
- Able to manage upwards and communicate at multiple hierarchy management lines.
