Activities Coordinator at Priory Healthcare

The Priory Highbank Centre provides specialist care and rehabilitation for adults and children who have sustained a brain injury, including ventilator dependent, and is part of the Priory Group. The centre is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of adults and children through close interdisciplinary team working.

We are a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and a Dietician. We operate as a close team to develop and improve the independence of all our patients. Utilising a holistic patient centred mindset, we develop all of our programmes with the patient and their families and facilitate various social activities to help enhance their daily lives.

We are currently recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to aid with the rehabilitation and wellbeing of our patients. You will be working closely with the care staff to provide social and recreational activities and to promote the independence of our patients.

You’ll be helping new patients become orientated and feel at home at our facility.

There are opportunities to expand your role and become a manual handling trainer or RRIT Trainer.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a disclosure at the enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Services, which will be paid for by Priory.
