Main Purpose of Role:
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting financial processes, executing transactions flawlessly, and contributing to month-end processes and financial reporting. Your commitment to upholding our core values and ensuring compliance will drive our financial success.

Main Responsibilities:
Embrace and uphold ADC core values and the Code of Conduct in all interactions.

Execute Financial Compliance testing procedures meticulously.

Assess and review control processes, actively identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Provide valuable support to business owners and requisitioners, aiding in the resolution of parked and blocked items.

Process service-related transactions for service purchase orders, collaborating with requisitioners and procurement to address queries.

Offer support, training, and guidance on Financial internal controls.

Maintain and update documentation to reflect compliance-related checklists, manuals, and process documentation.

Monitor and audit fixed asset records, ensuring accuracy and compiling monthly change summaries.

Co-ordinate with the Hub and fixed asset owners for periodic verification of fixed assets with cost center managers.

Assist with data inputting and perform general administrative duties as required.

Employ the most effective, cost-efficient, and best business practices to streamline processes.

Exhibit initiative to ensure tasks are completed accurately and comprehensively.

Ensure meticulous maintenance of records and reports, accessible within set timescales for the management team.

Uphold compliance with current ADC quality system, corporate, and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate adherence to EHS regulations and the standards, prioritizing Health & Safety.

Ensure timely completion of training records/status, maintaining compliance with the ETMS/ISO training system.

Adhere to and enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures, documentation, and training requirements.

Qualifications:
High standard of literacy and numeracy.

Good GCSE level or above in Maths and English.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and oral.

Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
