Group Financial Controller
Right at Home UK – National Office, Crosby, Liverpool
Salary: Excellent (negotiable for the right candidate)
Full time, Permanent

The ideal candidate for this role will be either a CIMA, ACCA or ACA fully qualified accountant with experience working in a fast-paced organisation as part of a high performing senior management team.

Duties include:
· Create long-term Group, company and finance department strategic plans.
· Develop and maintain KPI’s linked to business strategy and reporting requirements.
· Manage all financial aspects of the group taking ownership of business and process controls.
· With the support of the CEO, oversee the financial performance of the group.
· Support to assess the financial risk relating to key business operations, investments, and innovations.
· Collaborate with other department heads about budget, commercial opportunity, expenditure, and investment opportunities.
· Manage the financial team including coaching and developing employees.
· Ensure impeccable and detailed financial records complying with all regulatory standards.
· Conduct financial audits at both Group and Franchise level, identifying risk and supporting with both the creation and execution of any appertaining action plans.
· Produce meaningful reports tailored to the varying stakeholder audiences.
· Communicate with Finance related affiliates of the organisation.
· Deliver and develop Finance related training for the network.
Essential skills and experience:
· CIMA, ACCA or ACA fully qualified accountant.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Experienced and confident of working in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft products particularly Excel.
· Attention to detail is a must.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Ability to use your own initiative whilst working as part of a solid team.
· Ability to prioritise your workload whilst meeting deadlines and working to high standards at all times.
