Role Overview

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire a Financial Controller. Your role will be to manage all

day-to-day accounting, financial control and reporting at the Group and Subsidiary companies. Fuse

Capital employs and operates in multiple jurisdictions and currencies. A strong attention to detail,

the ability to work under pressure and a focus upon clarity of information to the board is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating and directing the preparation of the financial model, annual budget and

regular financial forecasts whilst tracking changes

• Preparing and publishing timely monthly management accounts and board reports
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax-related regulations, laws and filing

requirements in all jurisdictions, seeking professional support where necessary

• Managing across different cultures, and across multiple subsidiaries, jurisdictions & time

zones.

• Monitoring projects and marketing initiatives with a focus on their cost control and ROIs
• Operating at board level with poise and confidence
• Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of internal systems and procedures, applying a healthy

eye for detail and diligence

• Providing a proven ability to drive efficiency and process reviews across an international

organization

• Driving a new enhanced internal time management process
• Overseeing the external statutory accounts process
• Managing the Employee Share Option Scheme
• Supplier management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be fully qualified in either ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
• SME experience preferred ideally in a fast growth environment
• Enjoys looking at the bigger picture but is also very happy being hands-on
• Keen to make a difference and add value
• 5+ years’ experience
• Be commercially savvy and have business awareness
• The ability to prioritise and have good time management skills
• Thorough and methodical attention to detail
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Have an analytical approach to your work
• The capability to turn complex data into logical formats and analysis
• Data driven but always seeking produce meaningful information
• MS Dynamics or other CRM experience essential
