Full job description
A successful business based near Stotfold, Hitchin are looking for an Account Manager to be their internal point of contact and to lead the day-to-day tasks and full relationship management for several high-value clients.
In this varied and client-focused role, you will play a key part in the relationship management of high-value, long-term clients, each with accounts of over half a million pounds. On a daily basis, you’ll work with clients and internal stakeholders alike to address issues and discuss performance, and you will work collaboratively on everything from compliance and financial forecasts to creative, brand messaging, reporting, and KPIs. Above everything you will nurture the account relationship, turning clients into fans!

What you will be doing
- Proactively liaise with clients, know their expectations and strive to surpass them
- Maintain high client satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with clients as the main contact person and maintain strong relationships
- Maintain an ongoing client dialogue and communication throughout the life of the relationship
- Lead client status meetings and weekly operational calls
- Ensure all discussions and action points are captured and distributed in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to action client requests and to support client goals
- Complete all general administration tasks

- Effective onboarding and rollout of new fundraising campaigns from strategy and
- planning to implementation and review
- Work to challenging deadlines, managing multiple projects and tasks, helping
- maintain SLAs, project timelines and critical dates.
- Develop project briefs for our team, from client and internal debriefing and strategy
- sessions.
- Support on the creative for our fundraising campaigns, working with internal stakeholders and external artwork designers to create compelling visual stand concepts and fundraising material.
- Apply good discipline and attention to detail to proof and check stage all
- documentation, reports and creative before sharing with the client.
About you

- Previous client relationship management/ account management experience
- A passion for client satisfaction, building relationships and making client-first
- decisions
- A confident and strong communicator (written and verbal) both internally and
- externally
- A keen organiser, able to work on multiple projects and clients at the same time.
- Self-motivated with effective management of your own time
- Work well under pressure to strict deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of
- attention to detail
- Well-versed in Google Workplace Suite, including Sheets, Docs and Gmail (or
- equivalent Microsoft skills) is desirable
- Previous account management and/ or client relationship management experience within an agency environment
- Analytical skills and experience using reports to inform strategy and progress
