Accounts Payable Team Leader Responsibilities:
Key Project lead for the AP department on Purchase to Pay System implementation
Review, develop and implement improvements in processes, controls and procedures
Lead, mentor and develop the Accounts Payable team, ensuring workflow is effectively managed
Build relationships both internally and externally to keep processes running
Ensuring the team meets deadlines
Assist in meeting requirements of external auditors
Work closely with the Financial Controller to provide accurate cash flow forecasting
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Solid experience leading a busy Accounts Payable function
Continuous improvement, change management and system implementation skills
Great communication skills and ability to work with the wider business to drive improvements
Hands on approach to resolve issues
Good IT skills including MS office
