The Role
We are looking for a Retail Strategy Director for our EMEA team. This person will be responsible for managing a team of Retail Strategists within our Customer Success department.
They balance the workload across product lines: Marketplace Intelligence ( MI ) and Enterprise Intelligence ( EI ) ensuring an outstanding experience for their customer base.
They are strategic thinkers and strong negotiators, supporting their team in achieving their goals.
They are advocates of our products and services, always working with the customer at the core of what they do.
They will collaborate with the Retail Strategy Director in North America and other EDITED leaders to share best practices and ensure a world class standard is maintained globally.
Responsibilities
Lead a world-class Retail Strategist team to manage account heath and development with goal of renewal, upsell and cross sell
Laser focused on key client retention characteristics including data quality, KPI’s, executive support and user adoption
Support Account Managers and Sales Executives identify opportunities/strategies to upsell and cross sell products and services
Develop executive relationships with clients and deliver value with every encounter
Work across internal teams to ensure corporate objectives are obtained and client service consistency delivered
Participate in client Quarterly Business Reviews
Partner with other EDITED leaders within Customer Success and Sales to project future Client revenue streams
Requirements
Essential:
5+ years of experience in Head Office Retail/eCommerce
3+ years of experience in leading teams
Ability to communicate with clarity and precision, both via virtual and in-person presentation as well as written correspondence
Organised with outstanding attention to detail
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Proven experience and success in presenting plans to Retail executives and influencing top level decisions
Programme creation/shaping/ execution experience
Experience in motivating retail teams to work in a new way with change management practices
Strong understanding of retail organisation roles, workflows and processes
Nice to have:
Experience on both the digital and store side of retail
Experience working in Software as a Service or with SaaS vendors
